Supporting the Family of Kyle Spalding

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic and unexpected passing of Kyle Spalding on August 8, 2024. Kyle was a loving husband and best friend to Melanie, and an incredible father to Ethan (22) and Aiden (18) , as well as a son, brother, cherished family member, friend, coworker, role model and mentor to many.

Kyle's family and friends face this great tragedy with incredibly heavy hearts and irreparable grief. Kyle was known for his incredibly strong work ethic, kindness, humor, and positive energy. He brought a breath of fresh air, with much laughter, wherever he went and Kyle genuinely supported all those around him.

As a Manitoba Hydro Lineman, Kyle worked hard every day to support his family, that he loved so much. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Kyle's family, friends, coworkers and the IBEW community. With all the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. Let us all come together to support the family during this very difficult period.
