Hello,
My family and I are searching out aid in order to help pay for my brothers funeral expenses, and travel to and from his services in South Dakota, and in Michigan where all of our family still lives. My brother Kyle was an incredible father, brother, and son. Kyle was a fighter, he overcame so many struggles and obstacles that he was faced with. He moved his family to South Dakota to give them a better life while taking a great job and excelling in his career. Kyle was intentional and cared deeply for his family, friends and those he worked with. Unfortunately Kyle had numerous health issues, one of those was his heart. Last Sunday he tested positive for Covid-19 and a day later it took his life with an unexpected heart attack. Leaving his 2 daughters 11 and 5 year olds, mother, father, myself and brother.
I, Parker Wheeldon and my wife Marissa are located in Arizona and will be traveling to South Dakota and to Michigan to attend both the funeral in SD, and the memorial service for the family in Michigan. I have recently started a new position with Clayton homes and am not yet capable of taking on the sudden and unexpected travel expenses for both trips. Marissa is a work from home mother and dance teacher at two local studios in the Prescott area.
Sean(my other brother) and his wife have 2 boys, 23 month old and a 1.5 month old. Sean provides for his family as an electrician. His wife is a stay at home mom. The past 2 months have been hard on their family, as his wife was in an out of the hospital multiple times after giving birth, their son Jude having a skull fracture from a freak accident, and now the passing of Kyle. He has had to take a lot of time away from work and is now taking off a week to go to South Dakota to say their goodbyes.
We do not like asking for help… They say it takes a village, and we need our village now more than ever. Please whatever is in your heart to give. Small or big is appreciated beyond measure.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to cover the travel and lodging expenses for myself and my family, Sean and his family, and what groceries we’ll need throughout the week. Anything over what is needed for transportation and lodging will go to our incredibly loving parents to help in any expense or settling Kyle’s affairs that is needed and to help Kyle's daughters. As mentioned previously Kyle, has 2 beautiful girls. 11 years old and a 5 year old. What is left in the remainder of your generosity will be put away for their future.
