Kylei's recovery

My family had an unexpected medical emergency  that came up while we were ending our family vacation. My neice  Kylei woke up on Monday the 10th complaining of what we thought was a charlie horse. After a few days of it not getting better my sister Michelle made her a doctor  appointment  to have it looked at. On Thursday once she went to the doctor  they told Michelle, to go home and pack her bags and take her to Riley Hospital . Fast forwarded;Kylei's MRI showed that she had infection in the back of her thigh down to her calf as well as being septic. Her temp was  up to 104.5. They have taken her back for emergency surgery to try to remove the infection because it is a fast spreading infection. This will be the first of a few surgeries that she will need. They will not close the incisions but put in a wound vac to suction out and cleanse the incision. They will evaluate it every so many days and go back in as they need to to remove more infection. Kylei has  now had  three surgries with the last one being able to close her womb up. The decision  was made to have emergency surgery is to help act fast on the situation so that she isn’t at risk of losing her leg. How in the world did my baby girl go to sleep one night and wake up the next morning and she be so ill and going through all that she is. My heart is broken and I’m terrified. I need prayers more now then ever please! I am asking for donations because while Kylei is in the hospital and even afterwards  my sister is going to have to take FMLA non paid. Kylei will need physical  therapy and with all this we are unsure of any medical expenses  Michelle will have to cover as well as personal bills. We are unsure of how long Michelle  will need to be off. If you are bale to donated every little bit helps. Please continue  to pray for Kylei and our family.
