Kyle's aka Chuck's aka Delvin's Memorial and Cremation fund

Kyle R. Hoffman, also known as "Chuck" or "Delvin" was suddenly lost to his family and friends on Wednesday, May 8 when his young life was cut short.
Kyle always had a big smile and a warm heart. Everyone that knew him remembers him as a fair judge of character, a true friend, a teller of tales and someone you will never forget. He lived a quiet life with me in Northeast Philadelphia, with our big happy german shepherd, helping me care for my elderly mother and autistic brother.
He was taken from us too soon and at a vulnerable time for us as I have been in the hospital (and still am) for the last 2 weeks. It is my belief that he always tended to believe that he was invulnerable, focused intently on me during this time, and was too distracted to tune into his own body until it was too late. We have little set aside for anything like a funeral, and I think he had mistakenly fallen into the trap of just believing he had more time. I still really can't believe that I am writing this, as we were just planning to move to a new house, and filled with hopes for our future; growing old together, holding hands on an old wooden porch.
I, along with the rest of his family and friends are asking for donations to help give him a proper sendoff. We are simply looking to have a memorial service in which we can gather to cry a little and laugh a lot over our favorite remembrance, and a cremation.
Anything helps. Thank you!
