Kyle’s Cancer Relief Fund

Our dear friend and Eastown Salon coworker Kyle, has recently been diagnosed with stage four cancer of the jaw bone. Of course, this came as a shock to all of us. He will be undergoing extensive removal and reconstructive surgery on September 11 with three days in ICU and an 8 to 12 week recovery time before receiving the next stage of treatments (radiation and possible chemo).  This all comes on the tails of a mandatory Covid shut down which was already a financial blow to Kyle. He does have health insurance but has two $7,000 deductibles totaling $14,000 with one due now and the other after January 1st.  Having no income during his recovery period compounds the level of financial pressure.

I understand the stress of a cancer diagnosis and surgeries firsthand. My goal is to relieve some of the financial stress from Kyle so he can focus on resting, building his strength and healing his body. Many of you have already asked how you can help.
