Kylie & Crew Hurricane Relief for Carriacou
Donation protected
Hi All,
On July 1st 2024, the eye of Cat 4 Hurricane Beryl passed directly over my childhood home, the 13 square mile island of Carriacou in the Grenada Grenadines. It left utter destruction in its wake and so many people homeless and without basic survival needs - food, water & shelter. Those lucky to make it through with their lives are living in state of survival and will be for a long time to come. I was lucky to be raised on and around these islands for a large portion of my childhood. Some amazing people live here and they are resilient and strong, but they need help. My heart is broken for the total losses they've endured and the destruction of this beautiful island and her neighbours. Along with some wonderful crew, I will be sailing down to the Grenada Grenadines to donate all emergency relief supplies that I purchase with any donations received, directly to those affected by this catastrophe. Items needed are canned food, water, clothing, fuel, medical supplies, cat/dog food, baby formula, diapers, tarpaulins, tools, chainsaws, tents, generators, air mattresses, solar powered chargers, batteries, rechargeable batteries for battery operated tools, etc..after living through Hurricane Irma and her aftermath of no power for 6 months, 2 of the crew know exactly what is needed in a disaster situation like this.
If you are able to donate, ANY amount helps. If you can't donate, you can help by sharing this to reach as many as possible. In the event I raise more cash than I have room for supplies on the boat, I will be donating the leftover to trusted hurricane relief fund(s) that will continue to support the citizens of the Grenadines.
Thank you all for your kindness and support. I will make sure to pay it forward
