Support Kyli’s Recovery From Violent Attack

On Monday, October 10, my best friend Kyli was the victim of a violent crime in LA. That morning, around 11:30 AM, Kyli was walking to a local coffee shop. As she passed a man on the street, he, completely unprovoked, stabbed her in the back of her head with scissors (surgeon described them as garden shears). The scissors were embedded in her skull. Luckily, Kyli was able to get to a nearby restaurant and call 911. She was taken to a hospital in LA where she underwent a craniotomy to remove the scissors and multiple bone fragments.

As of today, Kyli is recovering in the hospital and expected to be there for the next 2 weeks.

On top of the attack, Kyli has been affected by the widespread layoffs in the tech industry and currently has no health insurance.
