KYRA KING MEMORIAL FUND

At 1am On Tuesday 2nd febuary, After a Hard battle with covid 19, it finally took our beloved Kyra, she was a devoted grandmother, mother,sister,auntie and friend.

She was mother to Jordan(27), Courtney(23),milly(16), Jenson(13) and evie(10), grandmother to jaden, kye, imarni-rae and Avaya, sister to Adam and James, auntie to Elsie and Rico,girlfriend to a loving boyfriend Simon.

Not only has this left us all devastated, Covid took away our ability to be with kyra physically we were all forced to fight for and fight with kyra for from afar. To see how her kids fought for kyra, how mature they were was one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed, i know kyra is immensely proud of them.

This absolute tragedy left us all willing to do anything for ky but we were left to feel helpless at home ,we have set up this fund so people who are in a position to or just want to can contribute to this memorial fund.

The family wanted to to say that this fund isn't to pay for the funeral.

We realise what Kyra meant to people and that a 30 people socially distanced funeral is just not the send off Kyra would want or deserve ,before the pandemic the crematorium wouldn't have not coped with the sheer numbers of people that would have turned up.

When the pandemic is over we plan to have a celebration of Kyras life, a proper memorial where we can all be together for an event that cannock will not soon forget.

We are also looking into a permanent memorial site where friends and loved ones can physically go to remember Kyra.

Depending on where the total ends the family will distribute the money between these things and maybe for something to look foreward to for her children. 

The family have felt your pain and seen your love it really feels like you have been with us and Kyra right to the end.
