Mechelle and Kyra Ray funeral services

Karell and Amos are now faced with picking up the pieces having lost their sister, and now Mechelle's loss. These young boys will need to make their way without the rock of their family.  I know many of you already donated, and if you can find it in your hearts to dig down, and help them now, it would be truly appreciated. The original story is below. The new update to this family is beyond words, and beyond tragedy. Mechelle was first and foremost a mom, a loved friend and coworker. She had a special light, and touched so so many lives. We thank you for being a part of this village for Karell and Amos. 



Parents shouldn’t experience the loss of a child. But in the early morning hours of January 4th, on Interstate 35 in Oklahoma, 21 year old Kyra Ray and her boyfriend Xavier Mitchell lost their lives in a tragic vehicle accident. There were multiple vehicles involved but these two young vibrant lives were lost.

 

Kyra is survived by her mother, Mechelle and her two brothers Amos and Karell. She was only 3 semesters shy of her college graduation from Tulane University, her life cut far too short.

 

If you are able to help make donations they would be appreciated by the families. Xavier and Kyra will need to be transported across state lines as quickly as possible, plus the costs of a double burial will be substantial for the families. Xavier’s mother has a severe illness and money is tight all around. Mechelle and family are still recovering from the loss of her father barely a month ago.

 

As a part of our work family, Mechelle has shown such immense strength, and her boys are still reeling from their tremendous loss. Any contributions, of love, emotional support or financial are truly appreciated.
