Help us pay for desexing and vet work on stray cats so that they can find loving homes.

Our mission is to keep animals off of deathrow and into loving homes.

Every week we receive calls from kind citizens of the community who have cats and kittens they are caring for. They can't keep these cats long term. They don't want to send them to a shelter. They dream of loving homes for these cats. To make that possible we need to be able to pay for the required vet work- in particular desexing.

Desexing a kitten is able to happen between 3-6 months of age. Vets are not allowed these days to desex prior to this age due to it being such a health risk to cats.

Kittens and cats can get pregnant from 3-4 months of age. They can get pregnant again right after birth.

So, it is essential that we get these kittens and cats off of the street, into loving homes and that we are able to pay for their desexing at the appropriate time so future pregnancy is not an issue.

The cost to desex a kitten pre first heat in Australia is $270 male and $300 female.

The cost to desex a cat post first heat in Australia is $330.

The cost to desex a cat while on heat in Australia is $360.

Every week we get calls to help up to 20 cats and kittens off of the streets Australia wide. Today alone we have been asked to help 8 cats that various people have taken in. We don't have the funds to pay for these desexings. If we do obtain the funds, we have homes that would love to adopt them. If we do not, we are not even able to consider them for placement into a loving home.

We are asking for just $3,750 to desex 10-12 cats. It's a start. To these 10-12 cats, it'll change their entire world forever.
