Support Carter Burton Arch. at Venice Biennale
Donation protected
Carter + Burton Architecture in Berryville, Virginia, has been invited to exhibit in the 18th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, Italy, this year. Biennale Architecttura 2023 will be held from May 20 to Nov. 26. At the exhibition, Carter + Burton will have the opportunity to showcase its work to an international audience and tell the story of those who have inspired the award-winning firm. This is an exciting invitation but also a big undertaking for a small firm. Any financial support is appreciated. Funds will pay for a portion of the $12,000 entry donation required by the European Cultural Center to participate in the six-month event, as well as materials and labor to build and ship the exhibit to Venice and have it returned to the U.S.
Carter + Burton's exhibit will feature built work and "on the boards" projects, with a focus on key collaborators, materials details and the importance of regionalism and microclimate responses in building design. The firm's exhibit will be memorialized in the exhibition's "Time, Space, Existence" catalog featuring other exhibitors and sponsors from around the world.
We thank you in advance for any support you may be able to provide!
