Boy Scout Troop 154 Dover , DE

In Memory of Eagle Scout and long time Troop 154 Scout Ethan Statham...You will be missed!!
Softly falls the light of day,
While our campfire fades away.
Silently each scout should ask,
"Have I done my daily task?
Have I kept my honor bright?
Can I guiltless sleep tonight?
Have I done and have I dared
In everything to be prepared.?"
Listen Lord, oh listen Lord,
As I whisper soft and low,
Bless my Mom and bless my Dad,
There is something they should know.
I have kept my honor bright.
The Oath and Law has been my guide.
Mom and Dad, this you should know,
Deep in my heart I love you so.
"The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law".
Boy Scout Troop 154 of Dover, DE has been chartered by the Knights of Columbus Dover Council #4182 and now Holy Cross Church for over 63 years. We are a very active troop with roughly 15 active boys that participate in at least 10 camping trips every year not to include our annual summer camp week at Rodney Scout Reservation in July. We also have a budding High Adventure program with treks to Philmont set for 2025. As most troops do we also participate in several service/conservation projects every year.
To support all these activities we have been using a smaller trailer that is now over 20 years old and is falling into disrepair. We are raising money for a new trailer initially, then other camping equipment as well as camperships to send boys to summer camp to support not only our growth but our overall outdoor program.
Any Donation of $300 or more will have their name put on the trailer under Sponsored By.
We thank you for your support!!!!
