Help Kevin Heal!

Kevin Harper is such a kind soul. He has an unwavering commitment to helping those in need and never asks for anything from others. He suffered a terrible fall recently and he needs our help to get back on his (literal and figurative) feet.
On a seemingly ordinary Sunday, July 16, 2023, Kevin attended a church picnic. On his way to his car, he accidentally fell down an embankment, resulting in severe injuries to his right ankle and foot. The extent of the damage necessitated a complex surgery, during which a metal plate and several screws were implanted in his foot. The journey to recovery will be arduous, with several months of rehab and complete non-weight bearing on his injured leg for 23 hours a day for the first month or so.
Kevin has been a devoted overnight stock clerk at ShopRite in Glenolden, PA. However, due to his part-time status, he won't receive any benefits during his time away from work. To make matters even more tricky, Kevin pays for health insurance out of pocket, and his $6,000 deductible will be a significant financial burden after the surgery. Moreover, he will face substantial lost income during the estimated six months he'll be unable to work. Kevin lived with his mother for most of his life and now lives alone. Recovery will be challenging and tricky, and financial stress is one part we can make a little easier to help him on his long road ahead.
For more than 15 years, Kevin selflessly volunteered with Cityteam Ministry in Chester, bringing hope and support to those facing challenging times. He continued his altruistic journey as the inventory manager at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Prospect Hill Baptist Church on Lincoln Avenue in Prospect Park, where his efforts made a lasting impact.
I hope you'll join us in lifting up Kevin and helping him get through this hard moment. No one should have to suffer alone or be unable to pay bills and live because of an injury like this. Kevin is someone who believes in community and shows up in his own ways to support others. He has his whole life. I hope we can help him, here, now. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 to help cover Kevin's mounting medical bills and alleviate the financial strain caused by his inability to work. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a tremendous difference in his life!!!
