KZV Armenian School - New STEM Lab
Donation protected
Hello, I am Nshan Kesecker, a teacher at KZV Armenian School. Today, I am thrilled to bring forward an ambitious vision - the transformation of our current lab into a leading-edge STEM hub that will ignite curiosity, foster innovation, and create limitless possibilities for our young learners.
Our existing science lab, while functional, is ready for a substantial upgrade to ensure our students are adeptly prepared for the rapidly evolving, technology-driven world. A state-of-the-art learning environment is critical for nurturing the advanced skills and knowledge that our students require to excel.
The Armath Labs Program, https://armath.am/en, hailing from Armenia and expanding into seven countries with over 600 labs globally, is the cornerstone of our vision. Armath delivers exceptional STEM education to students aged 10-18. It provides a comprehensive curriculum covering exciting engineering disciplines such as robotics, programming, 3D printing and modeling, radioelectronics, drones, and more. With its robust program and hands-on approach, Armath nurtures a passion for STEM and shapes the innovators of tomorrow.
Furthermore, a portion of the funds raised will go towards the establishment of a sister lab at our affiliated school in Oshagan, Armenia.
Our initiative is driven by the dedicated Science Lab Committee, which includes myself and Sebouh Der Kiureghian. Here's how the funds will be spent.
Armath Engineering Lab program (including funds for the Oshagan lab): $20,000
Includes:
-10 desktop computers
-Educational Software licenses
-3D Printer
-CNC Aluminum Laser Cutting Machine
Instructor Training & Living Expenses Stipend: $8,000
Advanced Monitors, Keyboards, Mice, and Accessories: $2,000
Ergonomic Desks & Chairs + Shipping: $4,000
Interactive Television/Display: $800
Secure storage for equipment: $700
New Flooring, Paint, and cabinets: $7,000
TOTAL: $42,500
Our vision has already won the support of several local organizations and esteemed donors who recognize the transformative potential of high-quality STEM education. We invite you to join this visionary group.
Alumni Competition
As a fun twist, we're inviting each graduating class to join in a friendly fundraising competition. We will track and display each class's contributions on our GoFundMe page. All donors contributing over a certain amount will be honored on a dedicated plaque in the lab, celebrating the commitment and generosity of our alumni classes.
This campaign is about far more than just refurbishing a lab. It's about kindling a passion for STEM, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come, and crafting a brighter, technologically advanced future for our students, our community, and beyond. We invite you to be part of this remarkable journey. Together, let's turn this pioneering STEM lab into a reality.
Note: Nshan Kesecker is an employee of KZV Armenian School, the organization that will be receiving the funds. The funds will be trasfered directly from Gofundme to the school's bank account.
