Ethan Medical Fund

The due date for my newborn grandson Ethan Gabriel Weaver's birth was November 5th, the same as the anniversary of my experience.   ("Ethan" means "strong" and "Gabriel" means "God is my strength").  He arrived 6 days  early but has been experiencing seizures that have caused him to spend over half of his three months of life in Phoenix Children's Hospital, including an emergency Air Ambulance ride.  Repeated trips from his home in Show Low and  many associated expenses have pushed costs ever higher.  I and other family members take turns staying awake watching Ethan so his mommy can get desperately needed rest.  None of the nine different drugs doctors tried have worked.  However, we have  found great hope by discovering a number of very promising therapies, none of which are covered by insurance.  We will search the universe for a cure so Ethan can get well and grow up and grow up strong.  So for the first time I am reaching out to the world through my Facbook friends to help Ethan's parents, my daughter Cierra & her husband Michael,   in Ethan's fight to survive and fulfill his destiny.
