Dan Clancy's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Dan is a beloved single father, brother, son, and uncle, in a family that cherishes him. He has just been diagnosed with stage IV gastro esophageal adeno carcinoma, and we are all devastated. Dan is a kind, gentle, hilariously funny soul. Right after we got the horrible news about his tumor, he told us that he would tell us more after his first appointment with the "gynecologist" (oncologist). We could laugh through our tears, because that is our Dan.
He's currently living in Oregon with his son, and our plan is to bring them back to Concord, California (Contra Costa County), where his extended family and closest friends live, so we can help him with whatever he needs. He will be undergoing chemotherapy and then possibly radiation and exploratory surgeries. He has a large tumor between his esophagus and stomach and will soon have a chemo port and G tube placed so he can begin his treatment.
Dan has worked hard all his life (most recently for UPS), but due to his diagnosis, is now unable to work. We love him dearly, and want him to be able to get the best care that he can. Every one of us desperately wish we had unlimited resources to help him through the battle he now faces, but that is not the case. We are asking for your help. Every dollar counts. If you are unable to donate financially we are so grateful for all of your positive thoughts and prayers. Thank you and God bless.
