Light a candle for Luke
LA519 is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to support local young people who have mental health issues that may result in suicide.
The charity was set up by Barry Aughey and Deirdre Costello in memory of their son Luke who died by suicide on 25th May 2019. The core aim of the charity is to ensure that young people have access to the required resources to help them if they are having suicidal thoughts.
The Light a candle for Luke campaign has been developed to celebrate Luke's 18th birthday and to officially launch this charity.
All proceeds will go directly to families who need support or to other organisations that help teens in distress.
