LA Family Housing Home Baskets

Over 36,000 people in Los Angeles don't have a place to call home. LA Family Housing seeks to change that. My name is Aidan Praytor. I'm a Boy Scout with Troop 18 of North Hollywood, and I'm proud to be working with LAFH on my Eagle Project. Every year, LAFH provides temporary housing to thousands of homeless families and individuals. My goal is to provide LAFH with no less than ten “welcome home baskets”  that contain all the household items a newly settled family needs to feel at home. There are a few different ways in which you can help me reach this goal.
1. Cash donations - $1 can buy a bar of soap, $5 a package of toothbrushes and toothpaste, $25 a set of dishes and utensils, $50 a collections of pots and pans. Any and all cash donations are greatly appreciated, and will be used to their fullest effect.
2. Item donations -  If you have new or lightly used pots and pans, dishes, glassware, or utensils, and are willing to donate them, please email me by clicking on the "contact" button next to my name below this fundraiser, and I will arrange a contactless pickup of the items from your home, or another location of your choosing. The donation of lightly used items will greatly reduce the $200 average cost per basket and will allow me to exceed my 10 basket goal.
3. Spread the word - One of the most important factors for any successful fundraising project is reaching as many people as possible. By taking a few minutes and sharing this GoFundMe with your friends and family we can work together to deliver as many home baskets to worthy families as possible.
