L.A. Marathon for Ukrainian Refugee Shelter
Tax deductible
On March 20th, 2022, I will be running the Los Angeles Marathon. This is my first marathon, and I'm raising money to benefit the Emergency Fund of the Ukraine Partnership Foundation.
The Fund provides immediate, direct humanitarian aid to Ukrainians during the ongoing crisis, including but not limited to supplies, shelter, and transportation assistance. The Foundation has converted its facilities in Lviv, Ukraine into a shelter for refugees making their way to the Polish-Ukrainian border. So far, over 1,000 individuals, primarily women and children, have been housed and then helped to be transported to the border. All donations exclusively support this hands-on refugee resettlement effort.
Our goal is to raise $1,000 per mile of the marathon distance.

As the daughter of Ukrainian immigrants, Ukraine is not only a part of my story, but of the global story of freedom and democracy. I have visited Lviv and it is heartbreaking to see the devastation being incurred on so many lives.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about the Fund or run!
