La Mariposa Non Profit School in Nicaragua

The Saline Rotary Club of Saline, Michigan USA has created this GoFundMe effort to raise funds for La Mariposa school. La Mariposa school is in the pueblo of La Concepcion, Masaya, Nicaragua.

La Mariposa School is a nonprofit Nicaragua school that provides therapeutic education and health services to those with disabilities. The school is in desperate need of help for their purchase of a van for the transportation of students and parents that need the school’s services. Important to the area’s rural community as dependable transport, the van enables those with disabilities to obtain health services at La Mariposa. Often the van transports 21 people at a time for necessary therapeutic services. In addition to the van, vital school and health supplies are also urgently needed for the treatment of students with disabilities.

La Mariposa employs 50 Nicaraguan citizens to undertake anti-poverty initiatives. Through the school, these employees direct the education for and the treatment of disabled children. La Mariposa also provides health services to all those in need within the local area. These needs are substantial!
