La Soufrière Volcano Disaster, St.Vincent
Donation protected
Your URGENT HELP is needed. You can make a difference to lives by sharing or donating to this GOFUNDME campaign.
On Friday 9th April, 2021 St. Vincent and the Grenadines experienced a volcanic eruption which caused thousands of persons who live in the northern side of the island surrounding the volcano to be evacuated from their homes and flee to safety.
Our team at Generation Next Inc. have come together to make urgent arrangements to assist those persons who are in dire need of assistance during this time of crisis.
If you are wondering who is Generation Next Inc. and what we are about, here is some background information:
Generation Next Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization registered in the state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as company No. 40 of 2014.
We help empower young people through education, culture and sports. Generation Next Inc. engages in various youth initiatives, with a heavy focus on the educational development of the youth of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Our annual college bursary program called the Access to College Education Program [ACEP] provides financial assistance to young persons who come from vulnerable backgrounds. We have successfully assisted over 400 students in the past five years.
Our organisation also provides assistance to the elderly and disabled. During the recent global Covid-19 pandemic, our team came together to create and provide care packages to many persons, particularly the shut-in. Our commitment to the Vincentian community is non-exhaustive. Please take a look at our Facebook page here to see some of our activities.
We are so thankful for you and all our donors over the years. Your contribution to this GOFUNDME campaign will assist persons who were evacuated from their homes under the current perilous conditions in St. Vincent.
