LA Wildfires: Support Recovery Efforts

As many know, Los Angeles is experiencing devastating wildfires right now that are being exacerbated by aggressive Santa Ana winds. The Palisades fire, along with the Eaton and Hurst fires, have already wrought unimaginable destruction across thousands of acres. Homes and businesses have been lost, families have been displaced, and countless lives have been disrupted.

As many may also be aware, our founding partner Jason Lahita is based in Brentwood, near the border of the Palisades fire. Though we are pleased to report that Jason and his family are currently safe, countless others in surrounding communities have lost their homes and sense of security. It is in the spirit of support and solidarity that StreetCred PR felt moved to take action.

To that end, StreetCred PR has set up this fundraiser to support those impacted by this devastating natural disaster. All funds will be donated to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund, aimed at aiding critical recovery efforts. These initiatives run the gamut from rebuilding homes and restoring belongings to providing mental health services, financial assistance and case management for those affected. They also seek to strengthen community infrastructure, helping organizations upgrade 2-1-1 information systems, enhance first responder safety equipment and expand access to medical care and essential supplies.
