Labour Party Candidate Selection

Hello, my name is Fatima Kamara and a political candidate for the Labour & Co-operative Party selection. I have worked in the public sector of over 20 years starting my career as  a nurse in the National Health Service (NHS) and I owe my involvement in politics to my career.  I am very passionate about the NHS and the public sector in the main as I have experienced first hand what it means to work long hours with little or no breaks, staff shortages, lack of funding to name a few.  Social care has been neglected by the current Tory government as they have favoured a sticking plaster solutions to sustainable reform.  This must change!

Based on my career and political experience, I would love the opportunity to represent the Labour & Co-operative Party as their candidate at the next general election. 

This can be costly and requires a lot of support to make this a reality.   Canvassing members and the local residents, organising events, printing and other campaign materials, and travelling can all add up to a significant amount of money. Therefore I am asking for your support!

 

No amount is too small and no support is too little; I am passionate about making this a reality as we need to have the Labour Party back leading the government. It would be my delight to be an elected MP for the Labour Party at the next general election.
