Lacey Ferdinando

On the 31st of December 2022, as the fireworks were going off over London, princess Lacey was having her heart retrieved to give another child a new start in life.

Lacey was an 11-year-old girl whose smile could light up any room. She was and always will be loved endlessly by everyone who ever had the privilege of meeting her. Lacey leaves her parents, grandad, brothers, sisters and family in unimagine pain and heartache.

On the 27th of December 2022, Lacey's heart stopped beating, her dad Terry gave her CPR until the ambulance arrived and got her heart back beating. She was transferred to GOSH and they worked around the clock doing everything they could to save her. Unfortunately, Lacey had had a Cardiac Arrest, which was caused by Strep A, a disease that Lacey showed no signs of. On the 29th of December 2022, despite everyones best effects, Lacey was pronounced brain dead. She was kept on life support until the 31st of December when at around midnight, she donated her heart to save another child.
