Lacey’s Fight for Recovery From Potential Sepsis

Two weeks ago, Lacey’s health took an unexpected turn when we discovered she had swallowed an unknown object. She underwent an emergency surgery that saved her life, and we thought the worst was over. But now, just two weeks later, she’s back at the emergency vet, possibly battling sepsis. Her glucose levels are critically low, but Lacey is showing her fighting spirit, eating and doing her best to stay strong.

As her vet bills continue to climb, nearing $5,000 already, the emotional and financial strain on us is becoming overwhelming. The vets are hopeful but unsure of how long she’ll need intensive care.
