Lachlan Daly - Heading to Florida for Basketball

Lachlan is a 17yr old Basketball player from Brisbane, Queensland. He has been selected in the Dare2Dream Basketball League 17U and 20U teams who are attending the upcoming AAU Basketball World Championship in Florida July 2023. Lachlan has been selected as the 20U team captain.

It is this selection with Dare 2 Dream that has now provided Lachlan the opportunity to attend Florida from the 28th of March to the 8th of April 2023 with BTR Ballerz. Whilst on this trip, Lachlan will be trying out in front of US Coaches with the chance to attend a US High School and fulfil his dream of playing high school basketball in America.

Lachlan started playing basketball in year 6, has been selected for the 2023 South Coast District team and was the youngest player (16yr) selected in the QSL Youth League (under 21s) for Yarrabilba Yowies .

When Lachlan is not at school, he is lifting weights in the gym, going for a run to improve his fitness and fine tuning his skills in basketball.

Lachlan works at Cash for Containers and is saving to get himself to Florida, but he needs your help.
