Lacombe Generals Allan Cup Trip

The Lacombe Generals are off to defend the Allan Cup in New Brunswick! This is obviously extremely exciting and a great priveledge to represent the city of Lacombe as well as the province Alberta in this prestigious tournament.
The unfortunate reality is that this season has been difficult for our organization financially due to the economic downturn and a loss of some key sponsors. The other reality is that it is not cheap to fly a team of 28 players plus staff and gear to New Brunswick as well as pay for meals and hotel rooms. The current price per round trip is $2,000+ and this does not include players equipment. That combined with a full week in a hotel room as well as meals leaves us in hole over $20,000.
We are simply asking for any type of contribution that you can provide to help us get to Bouctouche, NB and be able to represent our town and Province to the best of our abilities. We appreciate all of our fans and and sponsors that have stuck with us and stand by us. We would not be able to be where we are without your support!
