Lacy Baker is 26 years old; she suffered a stroke on her right side and a blood clot in the back of her brain. She is at Tampa Regional in the Neurological ICU. She was operated on yesterday, and they were able to remove most of the clot, but not all of it. They are monitoring her and trying to figure out why this young healthy girl is going through this. The family is currently waiting for results to come back from the tests that they are running to know where they go from here. Her recovery is going to be long and involve extensive rehab and therapy.


Lacy is a Behavioral Analyst and works with children who have many different disorders. Unfortunately, she only gets paid for when she works, and with all of this going on, we don’t want Lacy to worry about finances or how she is going to afford her recovery. We want her to solely focus on recovering and getting better each day.


Lacy Baker is one of the most loving and genuine young ladies that I know. She brings sunshine to any room she walks in and is always positive, even though she has been through a lot in her young life. She was my Megs roommate at SSF while at FSU and they are sisters.

We started this at $15,000.00, but she is going to need so much more to cover the mounting hospital and doctor bills, and of course she has daily bills including her student loans.

First, and foremost, I beg you to pray for a full and speedy recovery for Lacy, strength for her family, and guidance for all her healthcare givers.
