Ladea Waderker Covid-19 Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Ladea Waderker is my Grandaughter. She is 16 and a Junior at Warren High School.
She was diagnosed with Covid-19 Saturday, Jan 23 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio and sent home to rest and isolate. During the night and into the next day her condition rapidly deteriorated . My daughter took her back to the hospital the next day. The hospital staff advised my daughter Lisa that Ladea was in critical condition and needed transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
When Ladea arrived at Children's Hospital and after a series of tests they determined her heart function was 25% and her body was shutting down. They put her on a heart by-pass machine and inserted a breathing tube. The Doctors told Lisa if she hadn't gotten Ladea there when she did that Ladea wouldn't be with us today.
Ladea is expected to remain at Children's Hospital for at least another ten days to two weeks if all goes well. After discharge she will need to do Cardio Rehab.
Lisa and Ladea's dad Myron have been at Ladeas side 24/7.
Myron has been laid off from Hino Motors since last March due to the pandemic. He has exhausted most of his unemployment benefits and at this time is not receiving any benefits. He was just informed that the earliest he would go back to work is September.
He also carries Ladea on his Health Insurance and it will be expiring in February.
Lisa has been off work while staying with Ladea and will continue to be off until Ladea is discharged from the hospital.
Ladea is stable and slowly improving but this is going to be a long recovery.
Any help with Medical and living expenses to see Ladea and her family thru this would be greatly appreciated.
Every donation will be a tremendous help.
Thank You
