Fundraising for the funeral of Lado Lodoka

The family of Lado Lodoka would like to thank each and everyone who contributed. Your contributions have surpassed the goal which will give our beloved Lado a decent burial. We will update you with the final arrangements as we continue to prepare for his burial.

Lado Lodoka accidentally died on 12/02/2023 in the basement of his home when the furnace gave up and exploded. Lado was a champion of change, a great community organizer, a loving servant of humanity, a gracious and humble member of the greater Portland community, an intellectual and bright mind and a devoted and loving father to his four children. His captivating and infections smile lit up the room. His calm demeanor served as a binding glue to all who came into contact with him. The entire Portland community, the South Sudanese community in particular have lost a dear friend and leader. Words cannot express the loss his family will endure.

He left behind his 4 children and their mother.
