My name is Edward Bates owner of Kihon MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We have a martial arts school with nearly 150 students, kids making up the majority of the students. Our youth students are some of the most wonderful and amazing people you'll ever meet. Amongst those amazing people we have 5 youth lady athletes who claimed the right to compete in Abu Dhabi August 15th 2022. The competition in Abu Dhabi is
the World Championships of Pankration. The
World Championships of Pankration is a youth cage fighting event where the best athletes in the world come to compete and claim the right to be the worlds best. The prior year
there were only 9 female athletes in all of the USA. Our school had 4 of those 9 ladys that went to worlds in Sofia Bolgaria.
We claimed 1 World title, 1 silver and 2
bronze metals. In 2018 our school took 2
youth lady athletes. Those two ladies
brought home Gold and Silver medals.
I can say our Female youth athletes are some of the most fierce, intelligent, and talented people on this planet.
The 5 youth lady athletes that will attend worlds in Abu Dhabi are Andrea Frisque 17 yrs, Allison Enos Keenan 17 yrs, Citlali Perez 16 yrs, Madeline Meza 13, and Hannah Wagstaff 15 yrs.
Andrea Frisque is the pioneer of the 5 ladies.
Andrea Frisque has won 3 National titles
Silver at Worlds Italy 2018, and Silver at Worlds Bulgaria 2021.
She is in the hunt for her 1st world title.
Andrea is also a Honor student, wrestler
and track and field athlete at DHS High School. Including being an active leader in her community.
Allison Enos Keenan
is going on her second year of competing.
Allison is a National and World competitor. Allison has 2 silver medal finishes at US Nationals and placed 2nd in Bulgaria 2021. Allison is a student athlete as well with a
3.50 gpa.
Hannah Wagstaff is headed to her second
worlds. She was our 2021 world champion in Bulgaria. Hannah has two US Nationals
silver place finishes. Hannah is a world
class expert Jiu Jitsu practitioner.
She is a pilar to her community and is
a role model to so many youth.
Madeline Meza is our youngest at 13 yrs old.
She took Silver at her first US Nationals
2022. This will be her first World Championship. Madeline is a student athlete
with a 3.0 gpa.
Citlali Perez is our 155 lb US National silver
medalist 2022. Citlali is headed to her first
World competition.
Citlali is an Honor student, and soccer player at DHS High School.
All five lady athletes are students, role models and athletes. They are known well in there community and even by there local congressman. They have made a positive impression in their community by achieving goals and over coming some tough obstacles.
Our team is asking for your help to send these amazing students, athletes, martial artists and
role models to Abu Dhabi to fight to be the best in the world. These are young ladys
that one day will be running our great United States of America.
The competition starts August 15th 2022
we have 5 weeks to achieve our goal.
With your donation we can help these amazing ladies become world champions.
