Help send our Lady Panthers team to Washington, DC

Hello, my name is Craig Prather; Head Coach for the Lady Panthers youth basketball team from South Florida. As a prior Naval officer for over 27 years, I have served in several countries and across our country, but no place was more unique and memorable than my 3 tours in Washington, DC. Hence, I believe our nation’s capital, national monuments, historic landmarks, and political environment truly make visiting DC an experience of a lifetime for everyone. So, the objective of our GoFundMe fundraiser is to raise enough funds to provide an opportunity for our Lady Panthers to visit Washington, DC to continue to energize their imaginations, inspire their curiosity and expand their horizons beyond basketball.

Over the years, our Lady Panthers program has prided itself on providing a platform to develop and inspire our young "Student-Athlete-Leader" to excel and unleash their maximum potential on and off the court. A visit to our nation's capital will allow us to continue to enable our youth to find their purpose and passion in life, create living trophies to be winners in life, and have a greater influence on their own lives and future generations.

This year, I aim to provide our Lady Panthers an experience to not only play in a basketball tournament in Washington, DC, but also have a “boots on the ground”, 360-degree educational experience of our nation’s capital through touring several museums, national landmarks and historic facilities.
