Every once in a while people wander into your world and you feel them. You feel they are kind. You feel they are strong. And sometimes they allow you to know their story and you get to feel that as well. That is this story. The story of a very strong ,kind and resilient mother determined to do her best for her children. After tragedy struck their family nearly six years ago this mama has been strong and has done her best to provide a stable home for her four children. No child should have a childhood interrupted they way these children have. When the recent housing market caused them to be heading towards being homeless they came up with a plan and set it into motion . The purchase of the Ladybird school bus became the answer. A roof over their heads that they own. Here is where we all come together with them in this story. We together as a community of humans can give a little that can help a lot. Building beds, a kitchen, a bathroom, heating and solar to give them the security that this is home. Nickels and dimes matter. Please help us come together to let them know that good people are out there and together little by little can make a huge difference. All funds raised go directly to building the bus into a home. It will be used to buy construction supplies , a heat source, and composting toilet.
