Laelani's Summer Program at Duke University

Laelani has been accepted to attend the Psychology & Neuroscience summer program at Duke University in June-July 2024. We are fundraising to help pay for the cost of the program which includes her stay on campus, meals, activities, as well as attending lectures, clinics and hands-on learning experiences.

Laelani is excited about this opportunity as she feels it will give her real world experience in Psychology and on a college campus. She has a keen interest in the study of human behavior. As a class of 2025 high school grad, Laelani plans to pursue Psychology in varying forms as an undergraduate, and later in graduate studies. Her goal is to help people, particularly children, overcome the effects of trauma, deal with mental illness, and achieve their personal goals.
