Suffern and its local business community woke on 01/12/2022 to news of a fire impacting numerous small businesses in our village. Many have been devastatingly affected by this disaster. We’ve all seen things like this on TV, in other towns, but seeing firsthand the devastation of the fire along with the haunting smell lingering in the air is unbelievable.
As fellow local business owners, the board members of Suffern’s Chamber of Commerce stand together with the impacted businesses and the Suffern community. This fire has significantly added to an already difficult time for small businesses. In response, we’d like to help them and their employees, who will likely be out of work for some time, get back on their feet while shops are rebuilt.
