Lagloom Documentary

Donation protected
The Lagoon Zoo has been a dark and dreadful spot for many years ...with petitions that have numbered close to half a million individuals and numerous protests, a documentary that is being presented to Netflix is hopefully going to expose the plight of these unfortunate animals to a larger audience. The Lagloom documentary’s social mission is to bring change and awareness to the plight of animals and employees retained by Lagoon Amusement Park.

Despite numerous USDA violations and countless pleas from concerned citizens and animal rights activists alike, CEO David Freed refuses to engage in any sort of amicable dialogue to come to a resolution. Protests and petitions have rendered only local media buzz; the goal is to bring further awareness to not only this particular issue, but to the horrific proliferation of AG-GAG legislation and the underlying methodology of the Animal rights movement as a whole. It seeks to question mainstream and antiquated beliefs over human dominion of all animals and furthermore seeks to reframe our belief system by seeking equality for animals comparable to basic human rights.#emptythecages #lagloom
