Lahaina Fire Recovery Fund for Kathy & Tom Ramey

Aloha, my name is Lisa Andersen and along with my siblings, we are fundraising for our sister Kathy and her husband Tom who lost everything in the Lahaina fire. They lived just off Front Street and were able to finally see footage of their house today. Only the lava rock walls are still standing. Everything else is just rubble. Thankfully, they were able to evacuate safely with their dog Rusty but with very few belongings. Kathy is retired and Tom is finishing a long career as a contractor on the island, having worked for many years on homes, resorts and shops. Both were looking forward to easing into their golden years together. Now they are faced with rebuilding and replacing everything.

Such loss in our big family is almost incomprehensible. But we have faith, love and are just grateful that everyone is safe. Things and homes can be replaced. All four of them are still with us and are showing such resilience.
