Lahaina Fire Relief for Brie, Keoni, and Keawe
Donation protected
Aloha,
My sister, Brie is left homeless and jobless after the devastating fire on Maui earlier this week.
On August 8th, Lahaina Town was decimated. Over 1,000 people are still missing and the count of confirmed dead is rising each day. Thousands are displaced with nowhere to go. Like so many others in the community - our family home burned down.
Brie fled the fire with her inhaler and purse and nothing else. She is completely traumatized. She went to urgent care today because her lungs and throat were affected by smoke inhalation. Brie and her 12-year-old son both have asthma. The water is contaminated and the whole area is toxic. It's estimated to take up to two years to rebuild. Because of shared custody agreements, she's unable to move off the island.
Please help Brie and her sons recover and heal from this devastating loss. They appreciate any help you can provide.
Mahalo nui loa,
Keili
