Lahaina Fire, Support Shim ‘Ohana

My name is Aubrey Ahana and my grandma, Theresa Shim lost her home on August 8th, 2023 due to the ferocious Lahaina Wildfires. Thankfully, my grandma has been living with us at my mom’s home because of medical reasons and she’s safe but we were all devastated by this catastrophic tragedy. My uncles, Henry and Willy along with my cousin Logan (13) were in the house when they saw the fire getting closer and smoke getting denser. Everyone was able to escape the fire unharmed with the car and the clothes on their backs. They lost everything. My grandma lost all of her lifetime possessions in minutes. Thank goodness everyone was safe!
