Lahaina Fire Victims Duane & Sandi Ignacio
Donation protected
Aloha! My wife Sandi Ignacio (Sandi Lee Haff, LAC, LMT) and I, are victims of the devastating Lahaina wild fire. We had minutes to evacuate. We were living on the edge of Lahaina town behind the Jodo Mission. Within a half hour of smelling the smoke, we were loading our vehicles. We managed to escape with our documents, our kitties and a few changes of clothes. When we evacuated, Front street, the only access road, was stopped. We were trapped. We spent two hours down at Mala boat ramp, waiting for the road to open, while Lahaina town burned. After two hours, the road cleared and we were able to drive out. When we passed our home, the trees were on fire. It was terrifying. We feel very lucky to be alive! Check out the links moments before we fled!
