Lahaina Fires and Fraud Victims

We are residents of Lahaina Maui.

My husband is 93 and I am 76. We both have major health issues. I still work to supplement our social security and pension. We went through the Lahaina fires and recent hospitalizations (unrelated to the fires) Because of the impact of the fires my income stopped for a couple months and is now less than half normal. We were still making it until our bank account receiving our direct deposit funds was closed for fraudulent activity trapping our money. It will take approximately 3 months to recover our money and get deposits in a new account started. Whoever did this also filed a fraudulent tax return which I am trying to straighten out. The impact of this means our basic needs are threatened and we need help as soon as possible for rent, food, medical and bills. Please help if you can. Mahalo!
