Lahaina High School - Garage for Good

My name if Fred Walters and live in San Jose, CA. My daughter and her friends have started a campaign called “Garage for Good” which raises money for different causes. The premise is to have a garage sale where “all” proceeds are distributed to the cause.

In this case, it is for the Lahaina High School (Lahainaluna High School) where so many families were devastated by the fires. This campaign is their hope to make a positive impact on their peers 5000 miles away. The girls are high school students at Valley Christian in San Jose.

They want to provide people an option to contribute to this cause if they are not able to make the garage sale on 8/26 and 8/27. The parents of the girls' employers will also be matching a portion of the proceeds.

All the items to be sold are being donated by the parents and neighbors.

If you want to stop by the Garage Sale it will be at 2359 Richland Avenue, San Jose CA on Saturday and Sunday from 8a to 2p. Pictures from the event will be posted to this site.
