UPDATE:
On behalf of our Lahaina families who tragically lost their homes in the recent fire, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations, thoughts and prayers.

Your support in this time of need is truly remarkable and touching. Your contributions will go a long way in helping our families rebuild their lives and find solace amidst their challenges, years to come.

At this time we are closing this go fund me page due to the overwhelming support from family and friends. We cannot thank everyone enough.

The families in Lahaina continue to need support. My niece, Litea Maiava, has created a go fund me page in support of the families and children of Lahaina. If you feel compelled to donate, click on the link below.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. It was one of the most loving and generous experiences in my life.  We are all truly blessed to be part of this incredible village.

 Much love,
 Susie and Family

ORIGINAL POST:

My name is Brooke and I am friends with a large Lahaina family that has endured unimaginable loss.
❤️These families are going through the unthinkable.❤️

Generations rooted in the beautiful town of Lahaina (now turned to ash), have faced a devastating blow as multiple homes, places of work, along with cherished memories and possessions are completely gone.

The families have each other, but have lost everything else, including 5 homes.

Philomen Guth started this journey in Lahaina over 50 years ago. She absolutely loved Puamana/Lahaina and enjoyed her kids and grandkids visiting her often. This special place was a “home away from home” for many of the extended family members.

These Lahaina locals, known for their resilient spirit and deep-rooted bonds, now find themselves displaced and in need of support to begin the arduous journey of rebuilding their lives. There will be days, weeks and months ahead where they try to figure out what the next steps to take will be. For now, they are focused on staying safe, finding temporary housing, clothing, and necessities.

Together, we can help these beautiful and loving family members find solace and strength. Every dollar contributed will go directly towards providing this family with the essentials they require for survival and the hope to rebuild. Please donate what you can, and share this message far and wide.

Thank you for your time, consideration, prayers and donations.
