My name is Anaeva Fakatoumafi, niece of Sosifa Malafu., and I am from Oahu, Hawaii. My Uncle Sifa, Aunt Ashley, and their two girls Lenea (10) & Naomi (8), as well as Aunt Georgette were part of the many families who experienced the devasting event of Lahaina's Wildfires. My uncle is one of many if not few, men who regardless of his circumstances or situation, will not want to burden any others to ask for any help whatsoever. Thankfully they weren't home at the time of the fires, but my uncle did rush back at the time to rescue their two dogs who were home despite his current condition of health. Those who heard of Maui No Ka Oi Wildfire in Lahaina and some other parts of Maui, know and have seen how bad the fire has brought many families further down than rock bottom itself and I say this because of Hawaii's economy in general if many don't know until they've live here their entire life. Because of this fire, my uncle and his family lost their home where my two aunts and even my two little cousins have been all their lives and so much more. I am hoping to raise money that'll help in any way possible for both him and his ohana at this time as they try to rebuild and gather themselves to rise above from under rock bottom.
