Laid off YouTube Music workers need your help!

We are YouTube Music workers in Austin and we've been organizing for 2 years to get better pay and working conditions. We won our union election in April of 2023, and our joint employers, Google and Cognizant, have dragged their feet and denied us our rights to bargain at every turn. Last week, while two of our team members were speaking at a City council meeting to pass a resolution urging Google and Cognizant to bargain with us, the rest of the team at the office was getting laid off. Many of us work multiple jobs to make ends meet, many of us are mothers and fathers, and we live in an increasingly expensive city. Please support our team through this difficult transition time.
