Laina’s tribe

Hello, my name is Vanessa and I have set up this fundraiser to benefit The Boorman family. On February 27th it was discovered that Laina had a large tumor in her brain. Laina had surgery to remove her tumor on March 2nd and we discovered that it was a rare form of pediatric brain cancer, ETMR. Since her surgery, Laina had been receiving chemotherapy and battling cancer with a smile everyday. Her last MRI on July 17th, we discovered that Laina’s cancer started to spread aggressively. Laina got her wings on July 24th around 2pm.

We started this Fundraiser to help Laina and her family as they battled through this and to throw her a big party. We didn’t expect for this to have turn into funds for her grieving family. We don’t want them to have to worry about anything financially.

We want to thank everyone for all of their time, prayers, support, thoughts, kind words and donations through all of this. You are and we’re the reason for Laina, Matt and Stephanie’s strength.
