Lake Superior Armizare Tournament and Equipment

Hello Everyone,
To those familiar with us, especially prior donors, I'd like to start by saying thank you very much. With the funds from the former Fundraiser, we managed to get some much-needed communal club gear. We purchased synthetic training swords and use them at every meeting.
Unfortunately, with the ever-increasing demand of a growing club, we have been unable to keep up with equipment needs. Most members do not have jackets that fit them, and many also do not have masks that fit them. We doubled in size this semester and plan to continue to grow. We intend to host the Upper Peninsula's first-ever International HEMA Tournament.
To do this, we need the following things for each competing club member:
- Steel Federshwerts($300 each)
- Steel Rated Masks($180 each)
- Steel Rated Gloves($260 each)
- Full Kits(Jackets, Leg Protection, Throat Protection, etc)($450 each)
We also need funding for the following:
- Prizes for the Contestants
- Funds to provide room and board to guest speakers
- Funds to acquire event insurance and to rent the venue we plan to host at
Combined these things all incur a hefty toll and we need community help to meet that steep price. We aim as a club to make HEMA accessible and affordible to the people of Northern Michigan. Please consider helping us achieve that by donating or sharing this fundraiser.
