LaKeisha is STRONGER Than Cancer

Today marks the 5th month since LaKeisha McGee received her Breast Cancer diagnosis. January 31st was the beginning of her journey with her double mastectomy and today she will go through a second surgery to implant her port for chemo treatments. This month was suppose to be the turn up to celebrate her 45th birthday, but instead it has turned into the reboot. Over this next year she will endure 17 rounds of chemo which starts next week and 4-6 weeks of radiation. She is a single mother who relocated to California to allow her daughter to pursue her dreams. When LaKeisha found out she had cancer it shook her world, yet she’s determined to win! We’ve decided to create a gofund me to support our sister through this hardship. The LaKeisha we know is strong, supportive, and independent. Anyone who knows her, knows if she could do it all on her own she would. That’s why we are reaching out for help during her time of need. She needs our help to allow her to heal stress free in order to kick cancers azz and to keep her daughter Journi following her dreams.
