Laken's Journey: Celebrating Morgan's Legacy

Laken Spurlock is graduating high school a few short weeks after his beloved father Morgan passed away due to complications from cancer. The two had talked about big adventures they wanted to take together, especially a trip to Ireland and Scotland so Morgan could show his son some of his favorite places in the world.

From the cobblestone streets of Dublin to the Scottish Highlands, sharing Morgan's love for people, places, and cultures is our wish for Laken's travel abroad celebration of his father's life. The trip will doubly serve as a celebration of Laken's graduation from the film program at Art & Design High School in New York City.

Laken has family in Dublin to stay with, so the fund will cover:

Flights to Dublin from NYC ($500)

Transportation to/from Dublin-Galway ($100)

Transportation to/from Ireland to Scotland ($200)

Tour to NewGrange ($150)

Hostels ($800)

Food ($500)

We will present Laken with a card of all the names of donors, friends and family to Morgan, at his graduation on June 25th, 2024.
