VSCC Lakes Access Road Fundraiser

For decades, the Rushtons have been a steadfast supporters of the Lakes Trial, dedicating countless hours to the event's success. Current Clerk of the Course is David Rushton and his passion and commitment have driven him to ensure the long-term future of the trial by working to develop a new hill in the southern part of the Lakes.

Finding suitable hills on private land within the National Park is no small feat. This new road will secure our future by reducing our reliance on forestry land and balancing the load across start hills.

Local volunteers are working hard and as a result a new hill will be in place this year with further hills planned. This will make an interesting addition to the Lakeland Trial.
